What is the YL WWA?

The Young Ladies World Wide Award is the first international radio project aimed at bringing together the largest number of Young Ladies worldwide in a single event. Born from the experience of the World Wide Award team during three years of organizing WWA, we decided to organize a worldwide radio event dedicated to ham-radio women.
All technology is managed by Hamaward.cloud, the best-known and most powerful platform on the market for organizing large radio events, where automating the coordination of activators and providing the most data and information in real time is essential.

When does the YL WWA take place?

The YL WWA takes place every year in March and lasts one week, from Monday 9 to Sunday 15, March 2026.

A FREE radio event for Hunters and YL-Activators

There is significant work by the organizing team to recruit Young Ladies activators, ensuring the largest possible number of countries and stations on air.

We invite all radio amateurs who know Young Ladies to point them to this website.

Hunters have the opportunity to take part in a very enjoyable competition across all HF bands and modes, aiming to win one of the top three positions in each category. (see the rules here)
