WWA Team with Ray Novack N9JA, ICOM America
The World Wide Award organizing team, represented by
IW1FRU Max, IU1NSA Lorenzo, and IK1HJS Carlo, took part again in the 2025 International Amateur Radio Exhibition, to promote the project and share the latest achievements of the WWA initiative.
It was a great pleasure meeting in person the representatives of
our main sponsors Ray Novak N9JA for ICOM America, Ivan Leitner LU8MIL for WiMo, and Beppe Spanò IT9HBT for MOMO Beam, key partners whose ongoing support has been essential to the constant growth and evolution of the WWA. Their collaboration enables us to expand the project year after year, improving the experience for both activators and hunters.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this year’s event was receiving
enthusiastic and positive feedback from so many WWA participants. We were thrilled to hear comments of appreciation, new ideas, and useful suggestions for future editions. Seeing the real interest and excitement surrounding the upcoming WWA Sprint, set to take place next week, was a great satisfaction and motivation for the whole team.
We also had the opportunity to
personally thank many of the WWA activator teams and greet numerous hunters who have been key contributors to the success of the initiative. In particular, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to the
many hunters and activators who spontaneously made donations to support the WWA project, an important gesture that confirms the strong community spirit around this initiative. All the positive energy and warm hospitality we received in Friedrichshafen truly inspires us to keep pushing forward and continue developing the WWA project at the highest level.
Our next stop will be the Ham fair
IbeRadio in Ávila this September, where we’ll be present together with our sponsor
HamBuy for the official WWA 2025 award ceremony. We look forward to celebrating another year of achievements with the entire WWA community.
