The Hamaward staff organized the WWA Awards ceremony at IberRadio, the Radiocommunications Fair held in Ávila (Spain) on the third weekend of September.
The collaboration with the organizers was very positive, facilitating logistics, hospitality, and transfers. Present for the awards were IW1FRU Max, IU1NSA Lorenzo, and IK1HJS Carlo. The fair is very well organized, with significant Spanish participation, offering a futuristic space for exhibitors and two conference rooms for meetings and presentations. A truly perfect organization, with great support from HamBuy and URE.

We also had the opportunity to present two WWA awards to Donny Imam Priambodo (YB0DX), who arrived after a 16-hour flight to receive the honors on behalf of ORARI (the IARU association of Indonesian radio amateurs), of which he is the President.

We are aware that it is very difficult to organize an event where 50 plaques can be awarded to the respective winners, but each year we want to hold a traveling ceremony to celebrate the WWA activities of January and July. The plaques that are not handed out during the ceremony are sent to the respective winners in the following months.
