The WWA award ceremony was held on September 20 in Ávila, Madrid, during the IberRadio fair.
It was a pleasure to award the winning friends who were able to attend the fair and collect their plaque in person.

It was an opportunity to meet old friends and get to know new operators who took part in the WWA, who with enthusiasm and interest shared ideas to improve the WWA award, with the common goal of involving and entertaining more and more people. We in the organization were truly amazed by the positive feedback and the passion shown by the hunters and activators in the WWA project, seeing the award more and more as a shared worldwide project, open to ideas and improvements.
We of the WWA team (IW1FRU Max and IK1HJS Carlo) also took the chance to visit the stand of our friends at Icom Spain and to meet the Youth operators, who are always enthusiastic and active.
The commitment and passion of Juanma EC5AN in organizing the event with great perfection, giving space to everyone and making all feel welcome, are truly commendable.
