Requirements to participate
Award staff will support you in every step
- Be a licensed radio amateur aged 25 years or younger (i.e. up to and including the age of 25).
- Have read and fully understood the rules: Hunter rules · Activator rules
- Have a stable internet connection from your radio station
- Have a personal computer with an internet-connected browser
- Use only the hamaward.cloud platform to log QSOs in real time
- Guarantee at least 100 QSOs during the Youth-WWA week
- Register using the form below to participate
- Provide your phone number to be added to the Youth-WWA WhatsApp group
How to enter QSOs in real time
The Youth-WWA award uses the hamaward.cloud platform to collect all QSOs from all Youth activators.
It is therefore essential to enter QSOs IN REAL TIME while you are operating. There are two ways:
- Online log: you enter QSOs directly into the platform (suggested for SSB)
- Hamconnect: you use your own station log and connect it to the platform via UDP (CW, FT8, RTTY)
