ITALIAN NAVY SHIP RADIO STATIONS AWARD 2024 - RULE

The A.R.M.I. called "ITALIAN NAVY SHIP RADIO STATIONS" was designed to remember and commemorate the Naval Radio Stations of the Italian Navy from 1960 to today and to encourage radio communications in all ways with all amateur radio stations. The Diploma can be obtained by all OM and SWL in the world.

PERIOD
The diploma will start on September 13, 2024 (00:00 UTC) and end on September 22, 2024 (24.00 UTC).

STATIONS
The stations with special names representing the Naval Radio Stations of the Navy will be active (see list on the website http://www.assoradiomarinai.it);

MODE
The following mode are allowed:
MORSE – PHONE – DIGITAL (RTTY-PSK-FT8/FT4)

BAND
All HF bands, according to the IARU Band Plan

QSO POINTS
QSOs (HRD) with special stations are valid:
- CW: 10 points;
- SSB: 6 points;
- PSK/RTTY: 4 points
- FT8/FT4: 2 points

N.B.: The connection with the special station on the same day can be done in all the ways permitted by the regulation, and in all the foreseen bands (the HAMAWARD wall will prevail).

DIPLOMA POINTS
To obtain the diploma a minimum of 100;
Everyone will be issued a certificate of participation (different from the NAVY AWARD) in pdf/jpg format which can be downloaded from the HAMAWARD platform at the end of the tender.

CALLS
The call will be as follows:
CW / DIGI : CQ CQ DE II9IABJ AWARD IT NAVY SHIP RADIO STATIONS K
SSB : CQ CQ from II9IABJ – CALL FOR THE AWARD OF THE ITALIAN NAVY NAVAL RADIO STATIONS.
REPORTS AND NUMBERS
The naval radio station will pass the RST report (followed by the MI# membership number).

CATEGORIE
There are SIX categories:
“DIGIT1” (PSK-RTTY)
“DIGIT2” (FT8/FT4)
“PHONE” (SSB)
“MORSE” (CW)
“MIXED” (ONLY CW-SSB)
“MIX GENERALE” (CW-SSB-PSK-RTTY-FT8-FT4)
Only one category is allowed.
At the end of the competition, it will be the award manager's responsibility to contact the winner of the category, if present in more than one category, to indicate in which category he wants to be awarded.
The second in the standings will automatically move to first place as the winner of the category.

PRIZE
Only the first classified in each category will be awarded with a NAVY AWARD.

REQUESTS
All can apply for the NAVY AWARD:
- in color A4 format cardboard, cost contribution € 10.00
- in color parchment A4 format, cost contribution € 15.00
- wooden plaque size 20x26 cm, cost contribution € 40.00

The Italian stations will be able to send their contribution for the award in the following ways:

LOGS
Logs are not accepted as the ranking is managed by the HAMAWARD platform and automatically generates the score and ranking.
