1. Purpose Promotion of the organization of the WRTC 2022 – “World Radio Team Championship”, that will be held in July 2023 (Covid reasons). 2. Start / End From 00.00 UTC on 1 January 2022 to 11.59 UTC on 10 July 2022 3. YL / OM QSO Award is issued following the QSO with the special stations, in the period indicated in point 2 of this regulation. Bands 160, 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10 meters. 5. Modes CW, SSB, FT8, RTTY. 6. Scores / QSOs To obtain the award, a minimum of 50 points is required. A final ranking will be made for operators making QSOs with special stations, based on the total sum of points as follows: CW: 10 points for each CW QSO on each band. example II1WRTC (or any other special station), QSO on 40m CW, 20m CW, 10m CW: 10 + 10 + 10 = 30 points) SSB: 5 points for each SSB QSO on each band. example II1WRTC (or any other special station), QSO in 40m LSB, 20m USB, 10m USB: 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 RTTY: 4 points for each RTTY QSO on each band. example II1WRTC (or any other special station), QSO in 40m RTTY, 20m RTTY, 10m RTTY: 4 + 4 + 4 = 12 FT8: 3 points for each FT8 QSO on each band. example II1WRTC (or any other special station), QSO in 40m FT8, 20m FT8, 10m FT8: 3 + 3 + 3 = 9 points 7. QSO accreditation Each special station can be worked only once on each band and mode, excluding QSOs during the contests, every month, including the IARU HF Contest of 9/10 July 2022, where each station can be worked again. (QSO points are the same for band and mode). A "dupe" QSO will not be considered as a penalty. IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO ASK FOR QSY BY MODE AND / OR BAND. Monthly and Overall Score listings Overall and monthly ranking is calculated for: - higher score - greater number of QSOs - greater number of special stations processed - more bands - more modes Monthly score listing is calculated on QSO logged during: - January - February - March - April - May - June Overall score listing is calculated on QSO logged from January 1st 2022 through 10 July 2022. Real-time ranking displayed on the website www.wrtc2022.it/award Montly and Overall Award release To obtain the award, a minimum of 50 points is required, within the times and methods indicated in these rules. Issue of the award is free and does not require paper QSLs or QSO confirmations. In case the minimum required 50 points for the award are not reached, each logged operator with at least 1 QSO will still be able to receive the certificate of participation. 9. July Sprint WRTC 2022 Award (25.06.2022 update) It is the final run to the WRTC 2022 Award finish. The July Sprint Award include all standard activities with WRTC 2022 Stations from 00:00 UTC on July 1st to 11:59 UTC on July 9, end with the IARU HF World Championship Contest from 12:00 UTC on July 9st to 11:59 UTC on July 10. Every QSO will count as new score in the Overall Listing, for all bands and modes, with extra points! Standard activity From 00:00 UTC on July 1st to 11:59 UTC on July 9th, every QSO will count as new score in the Overall Listing. Score: CW: 30 points for each CW QSO on each band with WRTC 2022 Special Event stations. SSB: 15 points for each SSB QSO on each band with WRTC 2022 Special Event stations. RTTY: 12 points for each RTTY QSO on each band with WRTC 2022 Special Event stations. FT8: 9 points points for each FT8 QSO on each band with WRTC 2022 Special Event stations. IARU HF World Championship Contest From 12:00 UTC on July 9 to 11:59 UTC on July 10, during the IARU HF World Championship Contest, every QSO will count as new score in the Overall Listing. Special Callsigns IOxHQ valid for score: During the IARU HF World Championship contest every qso on all contest bands and modes with all IIxWRTC (12) stations and all IOxHQ (12) stations (e.g. IO1HQ, IO2HQ...) will count as new score ( you can call again all stations already called in July outside the Contest) counting for Final July WRTC 2022 Award and for Overall listing. Bands: 10,15,20,40,80,160 (No activity on WARC) Modes: SSB, CW (No activity on RTTY / FT8) Score: CW: 50 points for each CW QSO on each band. SSB: 25 points for each SSB QSO on each band. Live score exception: During the IARU HF World Championship contest the IOxHQ stations will not publish the QSOs in real time, to respect the contest rules. July Sprint WRTC 2022 Award release: To obtain the July Sprint Award, a minumun of 400 points is required. Each logged operator with at least 1 QSO will still be able to receive the certificate of partecipation. Final score listing: The final Overall (Jan 01 to July 10) and July Sprint WRTC 2022 (July 01 to July 10) score will be complete after July 18 2022, after the contest deadline. The award or certificate of participation is issued by downloading the file in digital format, in high resolution A4 format, without registration, through the website www.wrtc2022.it/award , following the end of the event.
