 2. Start and end dates: From 00:00 UTC on July 24, 2026, to 23:59 UTC on August 8, 2026. 3. QSOs: All contacts with the special event station operating under the special callsign HI8UD are accepted. 4. Bands: HF: 80m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, and 10m. 5. Modes: There will be 3 categories based on transmission modes: CW, SSB, and DIGITAL (FT8, FT4, and FT2). 6. Scoring: Points will be awarded daily for contacts made across the different bands and modes. To obtain the "XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Commemoration" Award, a minimum of 50 points must be accumulated during the event. Depending on the mode chosen, the following points will be awarded for each contact with the station: CW: 10 points per CW QSO. SSB: 5 points per SSB QSO on each band. DIGITAL: 3 points per QSO in RTTY, FT8, FT4 or FT2. A contact may be made with each participating station once per day, on each band and mode. 7. The official special event station, HI8UD, may be contacted once per day on each band and mode. Duplicate QSOs will not incur a penalty. Requesting a QSO on a different band or mode from the activator is strictly prohibited. 8. AWARDS: At the conclusion of the event, awards will be presented for contacting participating stations, based on the following classification: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC OVERALL CHAMPION – NATIONAL CATEGORY: To the operator with the highest score in MIXED mode. DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MODE CHAMPIONS (Awards): To the operator with the highest score in SSB mode. To the operator with the highest score in CW mode. To the operator with the highest score in DIGI mode. INTERNATIONAL OVERALL CHAMPION CATEGORY (Awards): To the operator with the highest score in MIXED mode. INTERNATIONAL MODE CHAMPIONS (Awards): To the operator with the highest score in SSB mode. To the operator with the highest score in CW mode. To the operator with the highest score in DIGI mode. 9. Scoring: Points are awarded for each unique QSO with participating stations, in any authorized mode or band. Rankings will be calculated based on the highest absolute score; in the event of a tie, the operator with the highest number of completed QSOs wins; if the tie persists, the operator who worked the highest number of bands wins. 10. Awards and QSL Ceremony: To obtain the "Commemoration of the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games" DIPLOMA, a minimum of 50 points is required, within the timeframes and formats specified in these rules. The award is provided free of charge and does not require paper QSLs or QSO confirmations. The award is delivered via digital file download through the hamaward.cloud platform or the qrz.com website. QSL and Diploma downloads will be available on hamaward.cloud. It is not necessary to submit contact logs or QSL cards. Notes: Participation in the event requires good sportsmanship and implies acceptance of these rules. *Unión Dominicana de Radioaficionados, Inc.* (UDRA) will resolve any situation not covered by these rules, and HamAward is responsible for the computation and awarding of the prizes stipulated herein.
