Italian Navy Coastal Radio Stations 2022

From Mar 11 to Mar 20, 2022

PERIOD of validity
The diploma will start on March 11, 2022 (00:00 UTC) and will end on March 20, 2022 (24.00 UTC).

STATIONS
The following stations will be active:
- Stations with special name representing the Coastal Stations of the Navy:
(List listed on the ARMI website http://www.assoradiomarinai.it)
- Stations registered with the A.R.M.I .;
- Stations registered with other Naval Clubs;
- Independent stations.

MODE
The following modes are allowed: MORSE - PHONE - DIGITAL (RTTY-PSK-FT8-FT4) - MIXED (SSB / CW)

BANDS
All HF bands, according to the IARU Band Plan

QSO POINTS
QSOs (HRDs) with Navy Coastal Radio Stations are worth 15 points (all modes);
QSOs (HRD) with A.R.M.I. Club and Naval Clubs Stations are worth 5 points (CW);
QSOs (HRD) with A.R.M.I. Club and Naval Clubs Stations are worth 3 points (SSB);
QSOs (HRD) with A.R.M.I. Club and Naval Clubs Stations are worth 2 points (DIGI);
QSOs (HRD) with INDEPENDENT are worth 1 point (all modes) QSOs (HRD) with the Italian Navy Coastal Radio Station "JOLLY" II9ICF are worth 25 points (all modes);

N.B. : All stations (JOLLY station, NAVAL stations, coastal stations and INDEPENDENT stations) can be connected once a day, only for each type of emission mode (SSB - CW - DIGIMODE).
All duplicate links will not be taken into account.

MULTIPLIER
for each single COASTAL station connected only for the first time.
Ex. If at the end of the race I have connected in total 5 different coastal stations, my result must be multiplied by 5.

DIPLOMA POINTS
To obtain the diploma, a minimum of points is required as follows:
Italian stations: 50 points;
European stations: 25 points;
Extra-European stations: 5 points;

CALL
The call will be as follows:

REPORTS AND NUMBERS
Coastal Radio Stations will pass the RST reports followed by the registration number (MI #).
The A.R.M.I. stations will pass the RST reports followed by the registration number (MI #) .
NAVAL stations (*) will pass the RST reports followed by the registration number
corresponding to your club (MF # - IN # - RN # ....).

CATEGORIES
There are THREE categories:
"NAVAL" for ARMI stations and members of other Naval Clubs (*)
"INDEPENDENT" for all the other OMs
"SWL
SUBCATEGORIES
There are FOUR sub-categories:
"PHONE" (SSB)
"MORSE" (CW)
"DIGI" (RTTY-PSK-FT8)
"MIXED" (SSB/CW)

Participation in only one sub-category is allowed.
For SWLs, the MIXED mode is foreseen and they will be included in a separate ranking.

AWARDS
The station that will have the highest score ever, will receive a prize offered by the sponsor of the event (see official website);
The highest score of each Category / Subcategory will receive an award plaque;
For coastal stations, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded.
The prizes will be released for all categories / sub-categories, only if there are at least 5 stations in the competition in the ranking.
All participants in the race will receive a totally free certificate of participation, in JPG format to be downloaded at the end of the competition..

N.B. : To participate in the prizes and the ranking, you must have sent the participation contribution and request the award in paper format. All stations that require only the participation certificate (PDF / JPG) are not included in the final ranking and cannot participate in the prizes up for grabs.

REQUESTS
The Diploma must be requested from the Award manager:

The request for the award must be made by mail (electronic), the log entered will be valid. To participate in the tender, the applicant must send a contribution of € 10.00 or $ 15.00 (USD). This will entitle you to receive the Award in paper format (with relative ranking position, method of participation and final score) and to compete for the final prize (the contribution must be paid at the end of the race and no later than the set deadline). For those who wish it in parchment format the cost of the contribution is €. 15.00 (20 USD). Those who wish can request the plaque of the coastal radio stations at a cost of Euro 40.00 including shipping costs.

LOGS
For those who participate in the competition, they must send the log extract in ADIF / CBR / TXT / DOC format. All data will eventually be taken from the HAMAWARD platform.
All the logs sent will be checked one by one through the spreadsheet for the management of the diploma.
All the logs that report inconsistencies will be excluded from the ranking and included in the Control Log list.

EXPIRATION
Requests for the diploma must be received no later than 30.04.2022.
