Cluster Hunters Activators Statistics Rules

1-OBJECTIVE:
To commemorate the centennial of the DOMINICAN RADIO CLUB, INC., founded in June 1926.

2-DATE OF EVENT:
The event will begin on June 1, 2026 (00:00 UTC) and end on June 15, 2026 (23:59 UTC).

3-SPECIAL EVENT STATION & CALL SIGN:
A special event station HI100RCD will be active with 10 operators:

4-MODES:
There are 3 main modes SSB, CW, and Digital. Within Digital mode we will use FT8, FT4, and RTTY for this event.

5-BANDS:
HF: 80m – 40m – 30m – 20m – 17m – 15m – 12m and 10m

6-SCORING:
Points are awarded for each unique QSO with the special event station operated by different operators on the modes and authorized bands

Points will be awarded daily for contacts on the different bands and modes.

CW: 10 points for each CW QSO.
SSB: 5 points for each SSB QSO on each band.
DIGITAL: 3 points for each RTTY, FT8, or FT4 QSO.

Points will be awarded daily for contacts on the different bands and modes. To obtain the RCD Centennial Diploma, a minimum of 100 points must be accumulated during the event.

7-QSO ACREDITATION:
Do not duplicate QSOs on the same band and in the same mode. However, operating the same special event station on the same band but in a different mode is permitted.

The ranking will be calculated based on the highest absolute score and, in case of a tie, the greatest number of QSOs made. If the tie persists, the station that operated on the most bands wins.

Gold Award: To first highest score on each of the four categories of Mixed, SSB, CW or DIGITAL
Silver Award: To second highest score on each of the four categories of Mixed, SSB, CW or DIGITAL
Bronze Award: To third highest score on each of the four categories of Mixed, SSB, CW or DIGITAL

8-REPORTS: Each special event REP station will exchange the RST report as usual (R/S for SSB, R/S/T for CW, and SNR for DIGI).

9- CATEGORIES
There are 4 categories: MIXED, SSB, CW, and DIGITAL.

10- REGISTRATION
Registration is neither accepted nor necessary, as the HAMAWARD platform manages the rankings, automatically generating scores and rankings.

11- CONSULTING AND VIEWING THE RANKINGS:
You can check the real-time ranking updates on the hamaward.cloud website (using your personal account).

12- AWARDS
Special -DIPLOMAS, QSLs and SPECIAL PRIZES for the commemoration of 100 years of Radio Club Dominicano, Inc.

To obtain the RCD Centenary Diploma, a minimum of 100 points is required, within the deadlines and formats indicated in these rules.

DIPLOMA BY CATEGORY:

MIXED
Gold Award: Highest score (MIXED mode)
Silver Award: Second highest score (MIXED mode)
Bronze Award: Third highest score (MIXED mode)

SSB
Gold Award: Highest score (SSB mode)
Silver Award: Second highest score (SSB mode)
Bronze Award: Third highest score (SSB mode)

CW
Gold Award: Highest score (CW mode)
Silver Award: Second highest score (CW mode)
Bronze Award: Third highest score (CW mode)

DIGI
Gold Award: Highest score (DIGI mode: FT8/FT4/RTTY)
Silver Award: Second highest score (DIGI mode: FT8/FT4/RTTY)
Bronze Award: Third highest score (DIGI mode: FT8/FT4/RTTY)

13-GENERAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP:
The three operators with the highest scores in MIXED mode will be awarded trophies in the GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE categories.

The Dominican Radio Club, Inc. will present these awards at an in-person ceremony in September 2026.

14-GENERAL INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP:
The three operators with the highest scores in MIXED mode will be awarded PLAQUES in the GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE categories, which will be shipped to the winners at the address provided for this purpose. Shipping will be covered by Radio Club Dominicano, Inc. by September 2026.

All prizes, DIPLOMAS, and CERTIFICATES are completely free of charge and do not require the submission of logs or QSL confirmation cards, either digitally or in paper format.

Diplomas/Certificates can be downloaded as digital files via the QRZ website at https://www.qrz.com/db/HI100RCD and mainly on the hamaward.cloud platform.

15-NOTES:
The Hamaward platform manages and processes all contacts QSOs and updates them in real time until the event concludes, at which point the diplomas/certificates will be made available for free download to each participant.

Radio Club Dominicano, Inc. will award the national prizes and send the international ones. They will also address and resolve any situation not covered by these rules.
