Historic 1000 Miglia Award 2026

The A.R.I. Section of Brescia, the only one authorized by 1000 Miglia s.r.l. to use the brand, in collaboration with the A.R.I. Section of Rome and all the OMs of the provinces of Brescia, Rome, Padua, Rimini and Pistoia, announces and organizes a Diploma on the occasion of the 44th re-enactment of the prestigious car race and the 99th anniversary of the first 1000 Miglia held in 1927.
As usual, this year too, the “race” will take place on the Brescia – Rome - Brescia route from 09 to 13 June 2026.
The competition will also include cars that took part in the editions of the classic 1000 Miglia, ”the most beautiful car race in the world”, between 1927 and 1957.

To obtain the Diploma, OMs and SWLs must contact/listen to the activator stations located in the Provinces of Brescia, Rome, Padua, Rimini and Pistoia in the period from 30 May to 14 June until reaching the following scores:

• 25 points for Italian Stations
• 15 points for European Stations
• 8 points for Non-European stations

During the period, the Jolly Stations will be active:
• IQ2BOJ (ARI Section of Brescia)
• IQ0RM (ARI Section of Rome)
• II2MM Super Jolly Station

Score:
• 1 point for each QSO with OMs of the Provinces of Brescia, Rome, Padua, Rimini and Pistoia
• 3 points for each QSO with Jolly stations.
• 5 points for each QSO with the Super Jolly station

Bands: all HF, VHF and UHF bands

Modes: CW, SSB, RTTY.

The same station can be contacted more than once a day, provided that it is on a different mode or band.

Log: It is not necessary to send the log as the diploma will be made available automatically by the HamAward cloud platform, starting from 16/06/2026

At the end of the event, the rankings will be published on the website of the Brescia section “www.aribrescia.it “ divided as follows:

• Hunter Stations (applicants) divided into Italy, Europe and Non-Europe who will have totaled the highest score among the Diploma applicants
• Activator Stations

A special recognition will be sent to the first place winner of each category.
