From Jun 01 to Jun 28, 2026
Cluster Hunters Activators Statistics Rules

On June 2, 1946, following a referendum, the birth of the Italian Republic was declared in Italy. On the 80th anniversary of this event, the A.R.I. offers to radio amateurs and SWLs around the world the "80 Years of the Italian Republic Award 1946-2026."
From June 1st to 28th 2026, many A.R.I. activating stations will be present on the HF amateur radio bands as follows:
1) Stations of participating ARI Sections with their own IQ callsign.
2) Stations of participating ARI Sections with the special callsign "Republic".
Republic callsigns will be easily detectable since they will have the following characteristics: 7 characters with the prefix II or IR followed by the area number and a 4-letter suffix, the first letter of which will always be an R for Republic. Example: IR3RVEN for Venice.

ASC Award:
Each participating ARI Station will also have a Special ASC (SASC) valid for the ASC Award (please see: https://www.ari.it/diplomi-hf/diplomiari/asc-sasc.html ) The SASC will have the following structure: Regional Letter+ 80 + two letter representing the ARI Section, e.g.: SASC-A80PE has this meaning: A (for Region Abruzzo) 80 (Years) PE (for Pescara, a town in Abruzzo Region)
Callsigns of the activating ARI Sections and related SASC will be available on www.ari.it
Each ARI Section can use only one callsign, either the IQ Call or Special Call

Date: The Award will start on June 1st, 2026, at 00:00 CET (Central European Time, equivalent to 22:00 UTC on May 31st) and will end on June 28th, 2026, at 23:59:59 CET (equivalent to 20:59:59 UTC). Each activating station can only be worked once on the same band and mode per week from Monday to Sunday, and can only be worked again on the same band and mode the following week. Therefore, each activating station can be connected up to 4 times on the same band and mode during the 4-week duration of the Award. Any DUPEs in the same week will be discarded by the system without penalty.

The standings will be published on the web site www.ari.it
The Hunters don't have to send their logs: all data will be under control by Hamaward.

Awards and eQSL: they can be downloaded from Hamaward. The Award is a PDF file. Paper Awards are NOT available. eQSL cards can be downloaded anytime, instead the Awards can be available once the event is finished.

Paper QSL cards: The requirement to send a QSL card is considered satisfied electronically. Anyway IQ stations can still send and receive QSL cards via the bureau.

SWLs: A Certificate for SWLs is available with at least 15 different Activating Stations heard. Please send a GCR listo to the manager. Email: ik2uvr@ari.it
The log must contain the following information for each record: Callsign of the Special Station listened to, Date, UTC Time, Band, Mode, and Callsign in QSO with the station listened to. If even one of these elements is missing, the request will be rejected. This is an example of GCR list with full data:

For any dispute, the manager's decision is final and unappealable..
