![]() Founded on November 11, 1966, as YU2CBM, Radio Club "Marjan" is marking its 60th anniversary this year. Now operating under the call sign 9A1CBM, the club has trained 2,326 members over the decades, many of whom became successful engineers, doctors, and scientists. Beyond technical training, the club’s members provided vital communication links and humanitarian support during the Croatian War of Independence. This long-standing commitment was recognized with the 2020 Croatian Technical Culture Association Award. Today, the club remains active with 35 members focusing on work with the younger generation. Through regular workshops and technical camps, primary and secondary school students gain practical experience in electronics and radio communications. To celebrate this milestone, the club has activated the special anniversary call sign 9A60CBM. ELIGIBILITY The award is open to all licensed radio amateurs and worldwide. DURATION The special call will be active from April 1 to December 31, 2026. BANDS All amateur radio bands from 160m to 6m. MODES The following modes are permitted: CW, SSB, RTTY, FT (FT8/FT4). EXCHANGE RS(T) report only. LIMITATIONS Points are awarded only once per month for each unique band and mode combination. Duplicate Contacts (Dupes). Any contacts made within the same month (using the same band and mode) are considered "dupes." While these contacts will not result in any penalties, they will not award additional points. Monthly Reset All band/mode combinations become eligible for scoring again at the start of each new calendar month. SCORING Points will be awarded for each valid QSO according to the following rules: •1 point for each FT mode QSO •2 points for each SSB mode QSO •3 points for each RTTY mode QSO •5 points for each CW mode QSO The final score is the sum of all individual QSO points. AWARD CLASSES The Award is issued in four classes based on the total score: 1.Bronze Class: 12 points 2.Silver Class: 25 points 3.Gold Class: 45 points 4. Platinum Class: 75 points The award will be issued in electronic format (PDF) and can be downloaded from the HAMAWARD platform after December 31, 2026. PRIZES The Top 3 Hunters with the highest overall scores will receive Special Prizes in recognition of their outstanding performance and dedication. RANKING An online real-time ranking will be available. At the end of the event, participants can download their award which will include their final ranking position. E-QSL During and after the event, electronic QSLs (eQSL) for each QSO can be downloaded via the hamaward.cloud platform. QSL LoTW, Clublog LOGS AND SCORING Participants are not required to submit any logs. The ranking will be automatically generated. All QSOs will be uploaded to hamaward.cloud. Scores for each participant will be updated and published automatically in real-time on the platform. Final score will be published after December 31, 2026 on hamaward.cloud.
