Art. 1 — Purpose and Description
The Award LAGORAI 2026 aims to promote and showcase the Lagorai territory, highlighting its mountains, lakes, streams, rivers, caves, as well as its rich wildlife and botanical heritage, and the numerous sporting attractions available (rock climbing, skiing, canoeing, and other activities).
The Lagorai Chain is a mountain group located in eastern Trentino, stretching from Monte Panarotta to Passo Rolle for a total length of approximately 70 km.
The event is conceived and organised by Radioclub Valsugana O.D.V. and is open to all OM and YL operators, with the goal of involving as many participants as possible from around the world in a single event.
Art. 2 — Participants
The Award is open to all licensed OM operators and SWL stations worldwide.
Members of Radioclub Valsugana O.D.V. participate exclusively as activators and are ranked in a separate leaderboard.
Rules for Activators:
• For the entire duration of their activation activity, activators do not participate in the LAGORAI Award as hunters.
• QSOs between activator stations are permitted; however, such contacts must not be uploaded to the HamAward platform, in order to preserve the integrity of the real-time leaderboards.
• During the activation, the operator's station must be continuously attended by the activator, who is responsible for ensuring the correct conduct of transmissions and full compliance with these rules and applicable regulations.
Art. 3 — Dates and Period of Validity
The LAGORAI Award 2026 takes place during the following period:
from 00:00 UTC on April 11, 2026 to 23:59 UTC on April 25, 2026
Stations active during the event:
• Club callsign: IQ3VN
• Special callsign: II3LAG
• Members of Radioclub Valsugana O.D.V. using their personal callsigns, and operators accredited by the Radioclub.

Art. 4 — Contact Rules (QSO)
The Award is issued following contacts made with radio operators authorised by Radioclub Valsugana O.D.V., who will use the distinctive CQ call: "CQ LAGORAI Award", exclusively within the period specified in Art. 3.
Valid QSOs must be bidirectional with an exchange of signal reports, as follows:
• SSB: RS report
• CW and RTTY: RST report
• Digital (DIGI): RS report
Points earned within this Award cannot be applied towards any other diploma issued by Radioclub Valsugana O.D.V.
Art. 5 — Leaderboards
Four separate leaderboards are provided:
• PHONE (SSB)
• DIGITAL (FSK, RTTY, FT8, FT4, and other digital modes)
• CW (Morse code)
• MIXED (all modes)
Art. 6 — Bands and Modes
Permitted HF bands:
80 – 40 – 30 – 20 – 17 – 15 – 12 – 10 metres
Permitted modes:
CW, SSB, DIGI (FSK, RTTY, FT8, FT4)
IMPORTANT — Hunters are strictly forbidden from requesting a QSY of band or mode. Activators, on the other hand, are free to change band and mode at any time without restriction.
Art. 7 — Scoring
7.1 — Scoring for Hunters
Mode / Station Points per QSO
FT8, FT4, FT2 2 pts
RTTY, PSK31, JT65, and other digital modes 3 pts
SSB (Phone) 5 pts
CW (Morse code) 10 pts
Club callsign — IQ3VN 15 pts
Special callsign — II3LAG 15 pts
7.2 — Scoring for Activators
Activators (including special callsign stations) earn 1 point for each QSO made with hunters, regardless of the mode used.
Art. 8 — QSO Credit and Logging
Each activator station may be worked once per day, per band, and per mode, throughout the entire duration of the event.
Duplicate contacts made on the same day, on the same band, and using the same mode will be automatically detected and removed by the HamAward platform algorithm.
Hunters are strictly forbidden from requesting a QSY of mode and/or band.
Art. 9 — Award Levels
To obtain the LAGORAI Award 2026, participants must reach a minimum of 100 points in accordance with the rules and timeframes set out in this document.
The following award levels are available:

Bronze Award (all modes) 200 pts
Silver Award (all modes) 300 pts
Gold Award (all modes) 400 pts
SWL Award (single level) 50 pts
The award is issued completely free of charge. No log submission or paper QSL cards are required. All QSOs will be uploaded in real time to the HamAward platform by registered activators. At the close of the event, each participant may download their award certificate in high-resolution A4 digital format, without registration, directly from: https://hamaward.cloud/
eQSL cards for each individual contact are available for download from https://hamaward.cloud/ at any time, both during and after the event.
Art. 10 — Special Certificates for Activators
The organisers of LAGORAI Award 2026 will present each activator station with a commemorative certificate summarising all results achieved during the event.
