1. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Manises CW contest, the following award is being offered:
2. Start and end dates: The MANISES CW 30TH ANNIVERSARY award will be active from 00:00 UTC on February 2, 2026, until 23:59 UTC on February 8, 2026.
3. QSOs All QSOs in SSB, CW, and DIGI (RTTY, FT8, FT4) with stations belonging to the Manises Amateur Radio Union are valid. The list of these stations will be available on Hamaward.cloud when the award begins.
4. Bands: HF: 80m – 40m – 30m – 20m – 15m – 10m
5. Modes: There will be 3 categories based on the transmission modes: CW, SSB, and DIGITAL (FT8, FT4)
6. Points / QSO Points will be awarded daily for contacts on the different bands and modes. To obtain the "30th Anniversary Manises CW" 2026 Diploma, a minimum of 150 points must be earned during the event. Depending on the chosen mode, the following points will be awarded per contact with each station:
CW: 10 points for each CW QSO.
SSB: 5 points for each SSB QSO on each band.
DIGITAL: 3 points for each RTTY, FT8, or FT4 QSO.
Each day, you may make one contact with each station participating in the event, on each band and mode.
7. The special URW station may be worked once per day on each band and mode. A duplicate QSO will not be considered a penalty. It is strictly forbidden to request a band or mode QSO from the activator.
8. AWARDS: At the end of the event, awards will be given for working the event stations, according to the following classification: NATIONAL CATEGORY OVERALL CHAMPION To the operator with the highest score in MIXED mode MODE CHAMPIONS (Awards) To the operator with the highest score in SSB mode To the operator with the highest score in CW mode To the operator with the highest score in DIGI mode INTERNATIONAL CATEGORY OVERALL CHAMPION (Awards) To the operator with the highest score in MIXED mode MODE CHAMPIONS (Awards) To the operator with the highest score in SSB mode To the operator with the highest score in CW mode To the operator with the highest score in DIGI mode
9. Scoring: Points are awarded for each unique QSO with the event stations, in any authorized mode or band. The ranking will be calculated by the highest absolute score, and in case of a tie, by the greatest number of QSOs made, and if the tie persists, by the greatest number of bands.
10. Awards Ceremony and QSL To obtain the MANISES CW 30TH ANNIVERSARY 2026 DIPLOMA, a minimum of 100 points is required, within the timeframes and formats indicated in these rules.
The award is issued free of charge and does not require paper QSLs or QSO confirmations.
The award is issued by downloading the file in digital format through the hamaward.cloud platform or the qrz.com website.
The eQSL download will be available on Hamaward.cloud. It is not necessary to send your log and QSL.
Notes: Participation in the award requires sportsmanship and implies acceptance of these rules.
The URW will resolve any situations not covered by these rules.
