![]() Regulations 1. Start/End From 00:00 UTC on April 15, 2025, to 23:59 UTC on April 30, 2025. 2. HAM Radio – QSO The diploma is issued following connections with amateur radio operators who are Members of the A.R.I. Bari Section and who explicitly transmit as "Station valid for the 75th Anniversary Diploma of the Bari ARI Section", during the period indicated in Point 1 of these regulations. The list of Members that can be contacted for the diploma is visible on the website HERE. Furthermore, to encourage portable activity by our members (/p) and to showcase the beauty of our territory to the amateur radio world, various references valid for the IIA, WAIL, DAI, DCI, and IFF Diplomas will be activated, the list of which will be visible at this link. Valid QSOs are 2-way with exchange of R/S report only (R/S/T for CW and digital modes). 3. Bands HF (1.8 – 30 MHz), 144 and QO100 4. Modes CW, SSB, and digital modes (RTTY, PSK31, FT8, FT4). 5. Ranking and Scoring The diploma includes a final ranking for operators who connect with amateur radio operators who are Members of the A.R.I. Bari Section, based on the total sum of points: FT4/FT8: 2 points. For each connection with an A.R.I. Bari Member, for each band and in FT4 or FT8 mode. RTTY/PSK: 4 points. For each connection with an A.R.I. Bari Member, for each band and in RTTY or PSK mode. SSB: 5 points. For each connection with an A.R.I. Bari Member, for each band and in SSB mode. CW: 10 points. For each connection with an A.R.I. Bari Member, for each band and in CW mode. VHF and QO100: 10 points. For each connection with an A.R.I. Bari Member in SSB and CW II7BA: 15 points. For each connection with the special callsign requested for the occasion, for each band and for each transmission mode. IQ7DV: 15 points. For each connection with the section callsign, for each band and for each transmission mode. IY7M: 15 points. For each connection with the callsign of the Marconi Station of the San Cataldo Lighthouse in Bari, for each band and for each transmission mode. The score will be doubled if the connected station is portable. Each A.R.I. Bari Member can be connected only once for each band and for each mode. Any "dupe" connections will not be considered as penalties or as points. The final ranking is calculated based on the highest score and will be visible on the website https://75anni.aribari.it/diploma/ at the end of the event. 6. Diploma Issuance To obtain the diploma, it is necessary to reach a minimum of 50 points, within the times and methods indicated in these regulations. The issuance of the diploma is free and does not require sending QSL cards or connection confirmations. In case the minimum 50 points for the diploma are not reached, each operator in the log with at least 1 QSO can still receive a participation certificate. The diploma or participation certificate is issued through downloading the file in digital format, in high resolution A4 format, without registration and through the HamAward site, at the end of the event. |
