The diploma aims to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the A.R.I. Bari section, founded on April 27, 1950, in the Hall of the Swabian Castle in Bari. The first President of the A.R.I. Bari section was Dr. Alfredo Ferraro 11OL (“Onda Lunga” in English: "Long Wave"); the first Secretary was Antonio Schettini – Natrella, IlCSF. The news appeared in RadioRivista 6/50. The development of the A.R.I. Bari section has been remarkable, leading to the subsequent formation of numerous other Sections in the Puglia region: (in chronological order) Trani, Barletta, Castellana Grotte, Canosa, Altamura, Andria, Bisceglie, and Molfetta. Many initiatives have been successfully carried out in the Section over the decades. Just a few of them are mentioned: the Newsletter, The Levante Diploma, The Preparatory Conference for WARC 1979, the Celebrations of the 60th anniversary of A.R.I.'s foundation, the Market Exhibition, the General Assembly, the Mediterranean Games, etc.
