Marconi 150th birth exibition by RAI

From April 24, 2024 to February 13, 2025, at the “Palazzo della Radio” in via Asiago 10 in Rome, an exhibition entitled “Guglielmo Marconi - Transmission Tests” was held, organized by RAI (Italian Radio and Television) in collaboration with FAI (Italian Environment Fund), dedicated to the 150th birth anniversary of the scientist who is universally recognized as the man who revolutionized the way of communicating throughout the world. The Ham Radio ARI’s members (ARI-Italian Radio Amateurs Association) were assigned the role of Guides for visitors in the beautiful exhibition path enriched by contributions generated by Artificial Intelligence that showed Marconi in all his extraordinary modernity. The ARI Sections that assumed this responsibility were those of Alto Lazio, Civitavecchia and Rome. The special callsign IR0RRAI (India Radio Zero Radio RAI) was dedicated to this commemoration. Each connection will be confirmed with a special QSL.

The IR0RAI station will be active on the air from 15/02/2025 00:00 UTC to 16/03/2025 23:59 UTC in all modes and in all bands assigned to HF radio amateurs.

Each QSO will be worth one point. Only one QSO per day for each band for each mode will be counted for the score. Example: IR0RRAI will be worth more points if connected on the same band, on the same day but only if in different modes.
