 To promote friendship and competition between radio amateurs. Start and end dates: The Gaiatas de Castellón 2025 diploma will be active from 00:00 UTC on March 1, 2025 until 23:59 UTC on March 15, 2025. With the following callsigns: EF5BC EF5FA EF5PS EF5AR EF5HC EF5FR EF5CC EF5PO EF5ES EF5TO EF5FP EF5GR EF5SE EF5CA EF5SQ EF5RA EF5TI EF5CR EF5CU EF5DG QSO All QSOs with exchange are valid (R/S in SSB, R/S/T for CW, R/S for DIGI). HF bands: 80m – 40m – 30m – 20m – 15m – 10m Modes There will be 3 categories depending on the transmission modes: CW, SSB, DIGITAL (FT8, FT4) Scores / QSO Points will be awarded daily for contacts on the different bands and modes. To obtain the DGCS 2025 AWARD, a minimum of 100 points must have been obtained during the event. Depending on the mode chosen, the following points will be awarded for contact with each station: CW: 5 points for each QSO in CW. Each day, a contact can be made with each station in the event, on each band in CW, that is, 20 stations on 6 bands for 5 points each, that is, a maximum of 600 points in CW per day SSB: 5 points for each QSO in SSB on each band. Example EF5RA (or any other special station), QSO on 80m LSB, 15m USB, 10m USB: 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 points, the maximum would be 20 stations on 6 bands for 5 points = 600 points per Fonia per day. DIGI: 2 points for each FT8 or FT4 QSO, 5 points for each QSO on each band. Example EF5RA (or any other special station), QSO on 80m FT8, 15m FT4, 10m FT8: 2 + 2 + 2 = 6 points. In total it would be 20 stations on 6 bands for 2 points, that is a total of 240 maximum points per DIGI per day QSO Accreditation: Each special station may be worked once per day on each band and mode. A «dupe» QSO will not be considered a penalty. IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO REQUEST BAND OR MODE QSY FROM THE ACTIVATOR. Prizes: At the end of the event, 8 prizes will be awarded for having worked the event stations, according to the following classification: NATIONAL CATEGORY ABSOLUTE CHAMPION BAG + AWARD, to the operator with the highest score in MIXED mode CHAMPIONS BY MODES BAG + AWARD, to the operator with the highest score in SSB mode BAG + AWARD, to the operator with the highest score in CW mode BAG + AWARD, to the operator with the highest score in DIGI mode INTERNATIONAL CATEGORY ABSOLUTE CHAMPION BAG + AWARD, to the operator with the highest score in MIXED mode CHAMPIONS BY MODES BAG + AWARD, to the operator with the highest score in SSB mode BAG + AWARD, to the operator with the highest score in CW mode BAG + AWARD, to the operator with the highest score in DIGI mode Scoring: Points are awarded for non-duplicated QSOs with the event stations, in any authorized mode or band. The ranking will be calculated by the highest absolute score, and in case of a tie, by the highest number of QSOs made and if the tie continues by the highest number of bands Award ceremony and QSL To obtain the DGCS 2025 AWARD, a minimum of 100 points is required, within the times and modalities indicated in these rules. The issuance of the Award is free of charge and does not require paper QSLs or QSO confirmations. The Award is issued by downloading the file in digital format through the hamaward. cloud platform or the qrz.com pages. The eQSL download will be available on Hamaward.cloud. It is not necessary to send your log and QSL. Special prizes for the activators The organizers of DGCS 2025 will award plaques to: Activators: 1st place from the sum of the positions achieved in the other 3 rankings, MIXED mode (SSB-CW-DIGI) 1st place for those who made the most QSOs All bands, SSB mode. 1st place for those who made the most QSOs All bands, CW mode. 1st place for those who made the most QSOs All bands, DIGI mode.
