![]() 1. Purpose The event is organized to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the birth of the inventor of the radio: Guglielmo Marconi (1874 - 2024). 2. Award Start / End dates From 00.00 UTC 1 April 2024 to 23.59 UTC 14 April 2024. 3. YL / OM QSO Award is issued following the QSO with the special event stations, in the period indicated in point 2 of this regulation. Special event stations are listed below. 2-ways QSOs with exchange of report are valid (R/S in SSB, R/S/T for CW, R/S for DIGI). 4. Bands HF: 80 - 40 - 30 - 20 - 17 - 15 - 12 - 10 mt. 5. Modes CW, SSB, DIGI (FT8, RTTY). 6. Scores / QSOs To obtain the AWARD, a minimum of 20 points is required for Bronze, 30 points for Silver, and 40 points for Gold. CW: 3 points for each CW QSO on each band. example IY6M (or any other station), QSO on 40m CW, 20m CW, 10m CW: 3 + 3 + 3 = 9 points. SSB: 2 points for each SSB QSO on each band. example IY6M (or any other station), QSO in 80m LSB, 15m USB, 10m USB: 2 + 2 + 2 = 6 points. DIGI: 1 point for each FT8 & RTTY QSO on each band. example IY6M (or any other station), QSO in 80m FT8, 15m FT4, 10m RTTY: 1 + 1 + 1 = 3 points. 7. QSO accreditation Each special station can be worked only once a day on each band and mode. A "dupe" QSO will not be considered as a penalty.
